2nd Annual Addiction & Recovery Awareness MusicFest. We are the first independent recovery music festival in the country, supported by the local States Attorneys Office, treatment professionals, and the regional recovery community. The event is a benefit music festival with all genre artists and speakers that are in recovery from addiction. Our headline performer this year is Royce 5’9  who is Eminem’s counterpart. He has been in recovery for 5 years.  Our main speaker is Tim Ryan, A&E’s “Dope Man.” (Tim Ryan A&E). The hosts of the events are non-profits Rising Above Addiction & Push HOPE Project, based in Westminster, MD. Our main purpose is provide financial assistance to those who don't have insurance get into detox, treatment, or sober living. The opioid crisis is an epidemic in our country, overdose is the leading cause of death under the age of 50. All ticket sales from the event will go to non-profits Rising Above Addiction & Push HOPE Project, any sponsorship amount is a tax write off through our 501 c (3).
