What Is Bite Nite? Presented by the Oak Park – River Forest Chamber of Commerce, 5th Annual Bite Nite on Friday, January 25, 5:30 – 9:30P @ The Nineteenth Century Club in Oak Park, is a celebration of outstanding local dining. This annual mid-winter event attracts 500+ attendees who pay $40 each to sample small bites/drinks from 50+ local restaurants, caterers and food brands during an evening of music + drinks and always SELLS OUT.
Bite Nite provides hyperlocal access to the Oak Park area (near Chicago suburban) foodie crowd in a lively, energetic enviornment, a great way to get your marketing message out. Our attendees, span all age groups and backgrounds, love dining out, trying the new food thing and having a good time. Our 50+ food/drink vendors - who participate for free by sharing 8' tables to give away samples - represent the top restaurants & food businesses in the area. The event has been professionally managed and marketed by the Oak Park - River Forest Chamber of Commerce for the last 5 years. In addition to sponosor perks stated, we work with our sponsors to ensure value by creatively customizing marketing packages to best meet their promotional needs.

As the Manager of Special Events at the Oak Park – River Forest Chamber of Commerce, Janice couldn’t be prouder to be working with talented Chamber staff and members to support small business throughout our community.
Janice also runs the 1,500k+ strong OPRF MOMentum Facebook group connecting area moms to local work, volunteer and life opportunities. In her past work life, Janice ran her Chicago-based sample sale retail & event business, Beta Boutique. At its peak, Beta Boutique was regularly featured in local and national media such as MSNBC, and even selected as the Chicago representative for a national ad campaign featuring Stacy London from What Not To Wear. By 2010, the business had 10k+ subscribers and won best-in-class accolades from top Chicago publications, Time Out Chicago and Chicago Reader.
While she is not working for the Chamber, Janice is dreaming up new entrepreneurial ventures and doling out solicited and unsolicited advice to her business friends. She also spends her time hugging her oversize dog, Duffy, reading books, learning tennis, doing yoga, organizing all things for her family of four, and planning multi-generational trips for her extended family of 20.
