About the event
The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation aims to “Do Good” for children affected by childhood cancer by funding critical research to find cures and advanced treatments, providing financial assistance to families of children with cancer and to increase awareness of this disease through advocacy, outreach and spreading the “be positive” attitude across the country.
The Young Professionals NYC Chapter of The B+ Foundation was founded in 2013 with a goal of supporting the mission of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation in the New York metro area. We are committed to bringing young people together to further raise awareness and money to fund critical childhood cancer research and assist families of kids with cancer nationwide.
Over the past four years we have managed to bring together and connect a network of devoted like-minded individuals who have a passion and a desire to fight childhood cancer for our annual BePosNYC cocktail party. This year we are excited to once again come together and celebrate as BePosNYC Presents The Disco Ball: 5 Years Golden.
It will be a night to remeber as we come together in support of all the amazing and resilient children who are struggling for a chance to grow up. We will be celebrating those who have conquered their battle, remebering those who we have lost and supporting those who are still fighting!
Why should you sponsor?
A sponsor for the BePosNYC Disco Ball: 5 Golden Years would gain visibility from a large pool of busy young NYC professionals and would have the chance to join and suport an incredible cause which has ammassed an amazingly supportive and unique community of caring and resilient individuals!
Hi! I am the Program Director at The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. I am currently working with the Young Professionals Board of the NYC Chapter. B+ is a lead funder in critical childhood cancer research and the largest provider of financial assistance to families of kids with cancer in the United States.
We are hard at work planning our 5th Annual Cocktail Benefit in NYC which will be attended by 400+ young professionals this May. We are actively searching for companies and individuals to get involved with supporting the event from a monetary perspective.
If you or someone you know may be interested in getting involved as a partner or learning more, please send them my way. We are excited for these new mutually beneficial relationships. Thanks for joining me in the fight against childhood cancer!
