About the event
The Wiegand Farm Golf Classic (WFGC) supports the Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD). DPD is a nonprofit, Catholic Charities Agency that makes a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey.
The WFGC has grown to become one of the largest golf outings in all of New Jersey. In 2016, the event brought in 255 golfers to two courses and raised over $100,000. In 2017, we are excited about moving the venue to Crystal Springs Resort, where we can further grow and flourish.
The event is more than just a golf outing, as we offer non-golfers the opportunity to participate in a variety of ways, including a MEGA 50/50 raffle; a silent auction where people can bid from home and a post event banquet and award ceremony.
Over a thousand people are involved with this event in some capacity. Your sponsorship of the Wiegand Farm Golf Classic has real value for your company before the event begins and after it concludes.

- We provide a high level of support and care for those in need. Our general and administrative costs are only 7.5 percent of our annual budget. Similar agencies operate with an average of 12% - 18% G&A costs. When you make a sponsorship investment with DPD, you know that the charitable funds given are being used efficiently and responsibly.

Christopher BrancatoI am the Director of Development and Public Relations for the Department for Persons with Disabilities. I have been involved with this wonderful organization for nearly 15 years in various capacities. I truly believe in the work we do, as I am also a volunteer and donor.
Through the years I have been involved with this event, I have watched it grow from a 68 person outing 5 years ago to an event that is one of the largest in all of New Jersey. I have closely worked with sponsors to assure that their marketing needs were met.
