330,000 Calorie Event,

Kuwait Kuwait

  • About the event

Average Recorded Statistics, 330,000 People Died Annually From Pancreatic Cancer Worldwide Since 2012 - Richard Ellis, Krissy's Dad was one of the unlucky victims to this dreadful disease.

Inspired by Krissy's previous fitness challenges as a team her and 20 clients will be aiming to burn 330,000 calories through exercise over a 40 day period. This equals 8,250 calories a day! Now this might not seem much but taking into account busy life styles, recovery days, and other limiting factors this is a huge physical and mental challenge!

Lets give you an example of what it take to burn these calories: Krissy can run for 1 hour and will only burn approximately 400-600 calories, 1 hour of strength training would burn 200-300 Calories, 1 hour of Walking 300-500 calories.  So as you can see as a team they have a huge challenge ahead of them!

Let me tell you a little about my experience and my personal philosophy of fitness. With 10 Years+ GCC Regional experience It has enabled me to gain a greater understanding of the culture & habits.  In working with clients, I like to focus on improving lifestyle choices and tailoring programs that suits the individual. My goal is to help improve your quality of life through physical fitness, and to do so through unique, fun, and shorter, more high intensity workouts along with endurance events such as this one.

There are five essential components to a successful fitness plan. Strength training, Cardiovascular Training, Flexibility, Nutrition, and a Positive mind-set. Each one is as important as the other because if you decide to emphasize one and neglect another, it becomes unbalanced and your best result may not shine through. I have lots of experience in Cardiovascular and Strength Training. Most of my clients are able to achieve their goals because I was not born athletic but because I had to work hard to gain my achievements. So hand in hand, I have ridden the roller coaster of fitness through its ups and downs. Participating in events form 5k, marathons and endurance events it certainly gave me more drive, determination and a purpose.

Through this journey I have gain so much motivation and unbridled enthusiasm, incorporated with excellent qualification I can give my clients the best of the best. A contributing factor to my high success rate is having a basic comman of the Arabic Langauge and that I confine my practice to only those individuals who are really serious about improving their fitness. As my team of clients grow and develop I Like to involove them in such events, one to help them achieve their goals but secondly to give them a great motivation to reach them.
