About the event
The International Functional Fitness Federation (iF3) World Champsionships is the premiere event on the iF3 calendar. As the international governing body for competitive functional fitness it is our goal to promote and grow the sport of functional fitness and to create the pathway necessary to get our sport recognized by the IOC and onto the Olympic Program.
The World Championships features the top athletes from over 20 countries competing for the title of World Champion in both Individual and Team divisions.
Athletes are tested in multiple areas to assess their fitness across a varety of domains. Specifically, athletes will be tested in 6 events which assess their Aerobic Capacity, Strength, Bodyweight Endurance, Bodyweight Skill, Mixed Modal Capacity, and Power. The athlete which finishes the highest across all 6 events is named the winner.
Why should you sponsor?
As the sole governing body for the sport on an international level we are pursuing a mission never before pursued in this sport. We aim to bring integrity, fairness, and governance that keeps the athletes rights at the forefront to the sport for the first time. In a sport that has been characterized by a lack of rules and standards, our organization aims to add a much needed level of structure and accountability previously unseen in the sport.
Sponsoring our event will not only bring awareness to your brand through social media postings, signage, and shoutouts but also aligns your brand with an organization that is focused on maintaining integrity and ethical standards in sport.
For those sponsors looking more at the numbers, last year's event brought 350,000 impressions on IG with over 20,000 people seen our livestream on facebook. Several competing athletes have 100k-500k IG followers themselves, which then leads to broader exposure for your brand when they repost pictures which contain your signage in the background.
Besides the basic packages listed on our page we are happy to negotiate custom packages on an individual basis as well.
Gretchen KittelbergerGretchen Kittelberger is the founder and President of the International Functional Fitness Federation. She grew up in Rochester, NY and was a gymnast all her life. She continued competing in gymnastics in college and received a full athletic scholarship for gymnastics to the University of Maryland. After graduating from Maryland and retiring from competitive gymnastics, Gretchen went on to attend law school at the University of Virginia. While in law school, she discovered CrossFit® for the first time. She eventually started training and competing in CrossFit® and functional fitness competitions, competing four times as an individual athlete at the CrossFit Games from 2011-2014 and winning the Mid-Atlantic CrossFit Games Regional in 2014. After graduating from law school and passing the Virginia bar in 2012, Gretchen took a job as counsel for CrossFit, Inc. and worked there from 2012 through the beginning of 2016. In August of 2016, she founded the International Functional Fitness Federation with the goal of creating the sports governance structure necessary to get the sport into the Olympic Games. She also continues to practice as an attorney and train CrossFit® for fun, as well as coach others. Gretchen is also a Certified CrossFit® Level 3 Trainer.

This sponsorship is for sponsorship of the Technical Officials or TOs at our event. The TO's judge the athletes competing on the floor. We are asking for either an in kind donation of apparel for the TO's to include t-shirts and shirts for 3 days for 40 TO's + shoes for all TO's, or in the alternative cash to cover these expenses. For in-kind donation your apparel would be on the competition floor for the entire event as TO's would be required to wear it. For a cash sponsorship, your company name would be placed on the apparel that is given to the TOs. Shoutouts on social media and at the event would also be given. A prominent link and logo of company would also be placed on website.
