About our event

This event is to celebrate the Moroccan Wedding tradition and expose this tradition to the local communities and to celebrate everyone's ethnicity.

Never in history has any one produced such an event. This is an opportunity to bring all people from all walks of life to attend and learn more about this tradition. It will be full of prizes, cultural performances, Caftan Bridal show, including Henna artists, food and drinks all accustom to the Moroccan Wedding traditions.

I am hoping I can make this happen. Please feel free to reach me with any questions; I am still working out the details. But I do anticipate a large number of people showing up from the Boston community and its surrounding areas as well as from the State of Connecticut.

Thank you for your support,

Ilhame Berhili

I am an immigrant from Morocco. I have been in the states for the past 25 years.  I am a recent business owner of CasaBlanca Caftan. I come from a large family and in my community in the state of Connecticut there are about 200 plus family members. I am very passionate about educating and sharing the Moroccan traditions and customs with everyone I come in contact with. I feel there are a lot of misconceptions about my culture and heritage and I really want to introduce this community the richness and beauty of the Moroccan culture and traditions, especially the wedding events.
