  • About the event

The San Diego Tet  Festival is a free, community cultural festival that's held every year in observance with the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. For over a decade, the Vietnamese American Youth Alliance has hosted this festival at the Mira Mesa Community Park, earning the titles of the Largest Vietnamese New Year Event in San Diego, the Second Largest Event of its kind in Southern California, and has been rated the 3rd Best Festival in San Diego after the  Del Mar Fair and December Nights.

With over 25,000 attendees annually, the festival brings in a huge WOW factor with the numerous lion dances, the Miss Vietnam of San Diego Pageant, the Golden Voice singing competition, Cultural Village, a carnival, an app, and so much more.
