We are pleased to announce the 12th Rohan Kanhai Datta and Sunil Chandra Memorial Open Sport Climbing Competition hosted by St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
The details of the competition are given below:

St. Stephen’s College is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning in India. Its reputation for excellence has been maintained through its commitment to providing students with the widest possible set of opportunities, in order to develop their talents in every conceivable field.
This commitment to excellence is best demonstrated through the activities of the Hiking Club (estd. 1949) of St. Stephen’s College. It is the oldest institution of its kind in the country. In the last six decades of its inception, it has blazed the trail of adventure sports with several firsts to its credit within the fields of mountaineering, rafting, trekking, climbing (artificial wall and natural rock) and mountain biking.

Over the years, Hiking Club has produced rock climbers like Mandip Singh Soin, Rohan Kanhai Datta, Mohit Oberoi and Prerna Dangi and mountaineers like P. M Das or Yusuf Zaheer who in their time were counted among the best in the country.

Being the only college in Delhi University and one of the few colleges in the country to have a Sport Climbing Wall, we take great pride in hosting the Rohan Kanhai Datta and Sunil Chandra Memorial Open Sport Climbing Competition, an annual competition where climbers of national repute participate to showcase their climbing skills.
This academic year we shall be organizing the twelfth edition of Rohan

Kanhai Datta and Sunil Chandra Memorial St. Stephen’s College Open Sport Climbing Competition in January, 2017. The event has attracted a great deal of climbers and spectators in the past and we expect an even larger turnout this time.

It has been very popular in its previous editions and has enjoyed extensive media coverage in NDTV, Hindustan Times and The Outdoor Journal.

What do you gain?
Your organization’s or company’s brand will be visible to more than 2000 students during the course of the competition with students from colleges across the university and climbing enthusiasts from all over the country participating in this event.

Our Publicity Package for you is meant to ensure appropriate and complete brand awareness preceding and during the course of the competition to leave an indelible mark on the minds of the participants and the spectator. The following is what you will gain from helping us putting up this competition-
 Competition Publicity: Your organization’s or company’s logo will be displayed as a sponsor for the 12th St. Stephen’s Sport Climbing Competition. The following means will be used to publicize the event:
1. Banners and Posters: Banners, standees and posters for the event will carry your logo and will be displayed prominently in and around Delhi and other prominent climbing and mountaineering institutes in the country.
2. Online Publicity: The online publicity for the event, which will be carried by ultra- popular forums like Facebook, DU Beat, Know-a-fest and Blogs will also carry your company’s or organization’s logo.
 Audio-Visual Advertisements: The competition’s promotional video will also advertise your logo. We can also display video or audio clips advertising your company’s services during the competition as per your requirement.
 Public Announcements: Frequent announcements and distribution of flyers of your company and its products can be made during the event.
 Miscellaneous and sales: You can display your products and handout coupons /vouchers and samples of your products. Your organization can also promote an event of its own during the course of the competition.

SPONSORSHIP PLANS AND PUBLICITY:
We have three categories of sponsorships:
1. Title Sponsorship
2. Event Specific and Equipment Sponsorship
3. Sales Sponsorship

1. Title (Main) Sponsorship
Under this category, we name your company as the Title Sponsor for the competition. The name of the Title Sponsor will be featured prominently on all forms of publicity that will be used to promote and create awareness about this event. Your organization’s or company’s logo will be featured on all notices, posters, banners and all tools that we use for the online and offline publicity. You will also be allowed to put up a stall for your publicity in the college premises. The organization or company is entitled to request any forms of publicity, which can be arranged from our side.
Sponsorship Charge: Rs. 70,000/-

2. Event Specific Sponsorship and Equipment Sponsorship:
In return for event specific/equipment sponsorship, we offer name of your company as the sponsor of one/both of the competitive events (speed climbing and lead climbing). We will make special mention of the sponsorship you choose (under this category) along with your organization’s or company’s logo in all notices, posters and other forms of publicity.

1. Speed Climbing Sponsorship:
Sponsorship Charge: Rs. 20,000/-
 

2. Lead Climbing Sponsorship:
Sponsorship Charge: Rs. 20,000/-
 

3. Equipment Sponsorship:
Sponsorship Charge: Rs. 25,000/-

4. Sales Sponsorship

This sponsorship applies to companies and organizations interested only in showcasing their products, services or events of their own and will depend on the number of days and number of stalls being put up by them. You would also be allowed to distribute your flyers/vouchers/coupons/ free products. According to college regulations, an organization or company cannot sell their products on campus but along with showcasing an order service can be made available to the customers. Any profit made the company under this sponsorship will not be shared by the club.
Sponsorship Charge: Rs. 3,000/- per stall per day
